Maddocks worked alongside Allens in advising Grant Thornton Australia and its partners on the complex transaction, which was affected by way of a scheme of arrangement and involved the establishment of a new structure for the business.
The Maddocks team was led by Corporate Partners Philip Jones and Catherine Merity, supported by Partner Julian Smith, Consultant Janine Ryan and Senior Associate Donna Kwon.
Maddocks Corporate Partner, Catherine Merity, commented:
“We were very pleased to support Grant Thornton Australia on this milestone transaction, which positions the firm for accelerated growth in the competitive professional services market.”
