Maddocks advises Mediawan Group on acquisition of majority stake in See-Saw Films

Maddocks has advised European media conglomerate Mediawan Group on the Australian aspects of its acquisition of a majority stake in See-Saw Films, significantly expanding its global footprint and content production capabilities.
Mediawan, headquartered in France, operates in 13 countries across Europe, Africa, America, and Asia, producing content across all genres, and have significant partnerships and acquisitions, including Brad Pitt’s Plan B and The SpringHill Company.
The acquisition of See-Saw Films, a UK and Australian-based production company that is renowned for its critically acclaimed film and television productions for Apple TV and Netflix will enhance Mediawan’s portfolio and provide access to a compelling platform for creative talent. See-Saw Films has produced a number of well-known firm and television programs, including “Slow Horses” (Apple TV), “Apple Cider Vinegar” (Netflix) and acclaimed, award-winning films including “One Life”, “The King’s Speech” and “Lion”.
