About Nikki

Nikki is a construction and projects lawyer who advises public and private sector clients on non-contentious matters. Her experience includes drafting, advising on and negotiating construction contracts, consultancy agreements, facilities maintenance agreements and supply contracts, including under deeds of standing offer arrangements.  

Nikki has extensive experience on public construction procurement matters and has completed multiple secondments at Victorian State Government Departments. She is a client-focused lawyer who fosters strong relationships to achieve positive outcomes. 

Experience

  • Department of Education

    Acting for the Department of Education (including while on secondment) in the drafting and negotiation of a large volume of school projects, including school upgrades and refurbishments, the construction of new schools and the traditional and modular construction of kindergartens and early learning centres on school sites, totalling more than $500 million. 

  • Cladding Safety Victoria

    Acting (including while on secondment) on a range of procurements for a $600 million cladding rectification program, including drafting consultancy agreements, project management agreements, contracts for the supply of services and goods and associated tender and guidance documentation in accordance with the Ministerial Directions and Instructions for Public Construction Procurement. 

  • Homes Victoria

    Acting for Homes Victoria in relation to the procurement of a variety of minor and major works and construction-related services, including establishing new panel arrangements, to support the delivery of new social homes as part of the Victorian State Government’s ‘Big Housing Build’ and the modernisation of existing social homes.

  • Tract Consultants

    Acting for Tract Consultants in relation to its projects across Australia.
