Maddocks acts for Roberts Co on record breaking four level distribution centre in Melbourne
Maddocks has advised leading construction company Roberts Co on its Design & Construct contract for a new specialised, high-tech logistics facility in Melbourne.

The fulfilment centre in northern Melbourne will create 2,000 jobs and span 210,000m2 to become the largest in Australia.
Roberts Co is engaged by logistics property specialist company LOGOS who is partnering with Amazon and AustralianSuper on the new facility.
The Maddocks Construction team was led by Partner Sefton Warner, supported by Senior Associate Michael Copeland, with their work focusing on the tender strategy in support of the successful award of the project to Roberts Co and the negotiations from the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase through to Roberts Co’s appointment as the design and construct Contractor.
Speaking about the matter, Sefton said: “We were delighted to act for Roberts Co on such a ground breaking project – the sheer size and scale of the project, made this work unique.”
