Maddocks advises on sale of bWellness

Maddocks has advised on the sale of medicine and supplements distributor bWellness to Australian goat milk infant formula specialist Nuchev
Maddocks’ client bWellness distributes its own branded products and European supplement brands in Australia and New Zealand through healthcare providers, such as naturopaths and nutritionists, as well as certain health stores and pharmacies.
The sale will allow the ASX-listed Nuchev, which specialises in goat milk products, to expand into complementary healthcare.
The Maddocks team, led by Commercial Partner Duncan Hall and Special Counsel Bernardo Wood, advised the founders of bWellness on all aspects of the sale.
Duncan said, “We were very pleased to assist the founders on a successful sale and enjoyed working with all involved in this transaction to achieve this outcome. It’s another deal that demonstrates Maddocks’ strong record in advising founders and entrepreneurs on exits.”
