Maddocks advises founders of Sushi Sushi on deal with private equity
Maddocks has advised Sushi Sushi Group on the strategic investment by Odyssey Private Equity.
Continuing its track record of advising founders on some of Australia’s most significant control transactions and exits, law firm Maddocks has advised Sushi Sushi Group on the strategic investment by Odyssey Private Equity.
Sushi Sushi is one of Australia’s largest food retailers, with 130 stores across Australia and more than 1300 staff.
The core Maddocks team was led by partners Damien Wurzel, Leigh Baring and Greg Hipwell, and supported by senior associate Steven Tang, associate Daniel Hui and lawyer Jack Coventry.
The Maddocks team worked in close collaboration with colleagues from KPMG’s transaction services team in delivering the project.
Maddocks has also recently advised the founders of Camp Australia, HPS Group, Soar Aviation and Manly Fast Ferry on their transactions.
