Maddocks elevates four to partnership in 2024 promotions
Maddocks has today announced four new Partners in its 2024 promotions to meet growing client demand.
The promoted Partners are:
- Angela Barac, Dispute Resolution – Public Law, Melbourne
- Andrew McGlashan, Construction – Construction & Projects, Sydney
- Dale McQualter, Workplace Health & Safety – ESP, Melbourne
- Rahil Patel, M&A/Corporate – Commercial, Sydney
These promotions bring the number of partners to 92, and reflect the firm’s continued transformation and strong strategic focus on key commercial and government clients across its Sydney and Melbourne teams.
Angela Barac has been with Maddocks since 2021, and has built a strong practice across administrative law and regulation, working closely with the firm’s Commonwealth sector clients.
Since joining the firm in 2014, Andrew McGlashan has built a strong reputation as a highly regarded construction lawyer. His focus on claims management, advice and dispute resolution has seen him work with a range of private and public sector clients with a special focus on renewable energy.
Dale McQualter in Melbourne has been with the firm since 2013, building a leading workplace health and safety practice. He has a particular emphasis on responding to regulatory enforcement action, investigations and incident response working with a range of private and public clients, with a strong following from our Commonwealth clients.
Rahil Patel is an experienced M&A and corporate lawyer based in Sydney. Since joining Maddocks in 2023, Rahil has carved a niche in the firm’s leading private equity and venture capital practice, advising on a significant number of high-profile M&A and equity capital markets transactions.
