Maddocks has advised the founder of event management and marketing company Click Click Marketing on a sell-down to private equity firm Straight Bat.

Click Click Marketing was founded in 2007 and counts the major technology companies across the Asia Pacific region as its clients.

Under the transaction, Straight Bat has taken a majority stake in the Sydney-based business while the founder will continue to lead the company.

The Maddocks team was led by Corporate Partner Duncan Hall and Special Counsel Bernardo Wood. The Maddocks team drew on the firm’s extensive experience advising company founders on divestments to private equity firms.

The transaction obviously represents a milestone moment for both the founder and for the company, and we are excited now to watch the business move into a new chapter”.
