Maddocks advises REMONDIS on a majority stake acquisition as it expands into Western Australia

Maddocks has advised REMONDIS Australia on its acquisition of a majority stake in GO Organics. This strategic move marks REMONDIS' entry into organics waste processing in Western Australia, adding to its existing portfolio of waste management facilities and services in the state.
REMONDIS Australia is the local operation of one of the world’s largest recycling, service and water companies. The acquisition of GO Organics, allows REMONDIS to further expand its footprint in food, garden and commercial organics waste processing, including the manufacturing of compost, soil and mulch. The acquisition will see existing management of GO Organics remain in place.
Maddocks Corporate Partner Duncan Hall and Special Counsel Bernardo Wood advised REMONDIS on the transaction.
Duncan said: “We are delighted to have assisted REMONDIS on this significant investment in the Western Australian organics sector. The transaction represents a milestone moment for the company, and we are excited to see their continued growth.”
