Assisting on whole-of-government technology agreements
Maddocks advised the Commonwealth Government on its whole of government technology purchase
Maddocks advised the Commonwealth Government’s Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) on its whole of government purchasing agreement with SAP.
The DTA was set up in 2015 to assist government departments and agencies with digital transformation and to have oversight of the Government’s ICT agenda.
The significant agreement, completed in October 2017, will make it easier for Commonwealth agencies to purchase and use SAP products and services, and will deliver savings for the Commonwealth.
More information on the arrangement is available on the DTA website.
Our team assisted the Department of Finance (now DTA) over the past 18 months, advising on the contract drafting and negotiations. The team was lead by Canberra-based partner Caroline Atkins, supported by partner Gavan Mackenzie and lawyers Belinda Chapman and Bridget Sullivan.
