The Society of University Lawyers (SOUL) represents legal practitioners employed at universities and as an association, promotes the exchange of information on legal matters affecting universities and tertiary education generally. The annual conference is a highlight of the year for members, and this year’s conference is being held in Melbourne on 14-15 November 2024.
This year, Partner Michael Nicolazzo and Senior Associate Kirsten Sullivan will be presenting a session on student placements on day two of the conference.
The Education law experts will be taking a deep dive into the perennial issue of student placements and the connections with the Fair Work Act, internships and the application of relevant Labour Hire Licensing laws.
